You would be wise to see a doctor. Look at how Liam Neeson's wife died after a minor head bang. Probably should have listed your age and other issues you might have such as do you suffer sinus allergies.

You probably have an aneurysm, no big deal. I wouldn't see a doctor.

4 days post, wouldn't be too worried.

No loss of consciousness? Vomiting afterward? Dizziness? Weakness?

May have had a small concussion then, but if you went to the ER, doubt you'll get scanned.

We probably wouldn't CT head you as a kid, although there is more info that is required before that call is made.

You probably haven't been around many EDs.

Mentioning the word headache buys you a head CT at a lot (most?) places.

No loss of consciousness. Wasn't "that hard". Helmet had barely any marks. Shoulder hit first. But I had a headache right away. By the time the emt (race had one of standby near me) got there, it had mostly gone away. Never got nauseous. Finished the race.

But I still have ever very slight headaches. Wife has me paranoid somewhat.

Hell, I woke up Saturday morning with a headache and at first I thought it was just from drinking, then I discover I had a bruise on the back of my head along with a small amount of dried blood. No idea how that happened, but I'm not worried about it.

Were you knocked out?

Nevermind I see you answered that. If you didn't hit it hard enough to knock yourself out and now it's 4 days later my concern would not be high. If I was caring for myself in this same situation I would not seek help from a doctor. Post concussion symptoms can last from days to months. Some symptoms are having slight headache, mild dizziness, nausea, or short term memory loss. If you started having projectile vomiting, ataxic gait, pupils are unequal, or confusion. These are signs of a more serious head injury. Hope that helps.
