I figured most people on this website are white and probably have kids.
I've seen that most hiphop fans are now white kids, do your kids listen to hip-hop? and what do you think of it?

I'm white and I purchased my first rap album in 1993. My children listen to it as well.

I'm 26 and have listened to rap since I was in middle school.

Nothing like jamming 'Still Tippin' in the computer lab in middle school.

ETA: I'm white.

I'm a white kid born in 1980. Grew up in Shenandoah in Baton Rouge. My first cassette tape was Run DMC Raising Hell. I fricking love rap and hip hop. I hope my kids do too.

I also love metal, classic rock, alt rock, old country, reggae, jazz, blues, brass band, R&B and some EDM. I hope my kids are just as diverse as I am without being assholes about it.

Kanye and Curren$y are some of my favorites.

I like everything but country. Hopefully my kids are cool enough to hate country music also.

Texas country and red dirt is great music. Nashville not so much.

It's a lot more fun to like everything. I'm going to a texas country concert on Wednesday, Blink 182 on Friday and I went to see Drake and Future last week in Dallas.

Been that way since the Chronic and Doggystyle came out. Since like 1991 rap music's biggest customers have been suburban youth.

I go to country concerts with the SO. Just, I can hate on it because it's bad.

Grew up in a sort of cowboy family and love the old stuff. This new shtt is, well you know.

Damn near all the new stuff in most genres is hot garbage.

Now if we are talking about NWA or 2 live crew or shite like that, I can get down.

How is Blink as an adult?

Loved them before my post hardcore and then metal loving days. Today it seems sort of silly.

Disagree.

I find country has taken the biggest hit. Indie is still indie, metal is improving, electro is surging and rap has some decent artist. Country it's hard to find good artist outaide the local ones here around the south.

Lol we'll see Friday.

I jammed to a Blink playlist at the last Rangers tailgate I was at and enjoyed it. I just don't really know how to act at a rock concert
