Do you want a funeral service when you die?

The wife and I were talking about this today, and neither of us wants a funeral service. We both knew each other wanted to be creamated, but I guess we hadn't discussed the funeral part before. It kind of surprised both of us that neither of us wanted a service. What say you?

I want to be stuffed with my valuables and strung up like a piñata. Then have everyone in attendance beat the shite out of me until they are fighting over said valuables. There would of course be refreshments and ultimate frisbee as well

Funerals are for the living. I let my wife and kids know to do what they well but remember, it’s your money. You could go someplace nice and spread my ashes if it makes you feel better rather than spend that money on ridiculous services.
