My mouth is not a toilet. I can express myself without profanity.

I work construction.
However, my wife has conditioned me to refrain from using it at home.

The 6 years old language isn't the real problem. The real problem is he comes from an environment with no boundaries, no respect, and no value of human life. The language is just the manifestation of truly having been taught to "not give a frick about anyone or anything". He most likely won't see his 15th birthday unless imprisoned and the world will be a better place without him or the millions more like him.

I was scooping chicken feed from the bin and one of em sneak attacked me and jumped on my shoulder, lacking the patience for me to just pour it in their trough. I was startled so bad that I slipped out a GD.

I felt awful about it.

I used the f word playing video games the other day. My daughter came in to the office where I was playing and said, "Dad, I heard you say the F word from my room, and both of our doors are closed! Bruh, SERIOUSLY?!?"

I apologized and told her to turn on my box fan.

Make each DVD or streaming purchase available in the original and TV versions where the language / gross violence / nudity, etc are edited out.

I had the same thought the other day... How many more movies would I have introduced my kids to if it weren't for the foul language/degenerate stuff that I simply refuse to expose them to and normalize...

Maybe used a colorful vocabulary some but I made a conscious effort at one point years ago to stop all swearing and it has worked for me. So, currently no.

My parents never used foul language in front of me and the least I can do is set the same example for my kids.

My grandkids don’t use foul language, so I must have done something right.

You’re outside the circle of trust with our extended family if you curse in front of children.
