If so, which one?

Trying to decide if I want to set one up.

I have a Samsung Android. So options are Samsung wallet, Google Wallet, PayPal, or????

Part of me says do it, cause if you accidentally leave your wallet at home it sure could come in handy. Part of me says don't, cause it just seems sketchy, lol.

If you do, which one is accepted most places and easiest to use? I don't ever pay attention.

Just returned from a long stay in London.

I used my mobile wallet/pay for every transaction and didn't pull out my physical wallet once.

It's extremely convenient and faster than a normal transaction ( using a physical card ).

Likewise, nice if you forget or lose your wallet.

Yes, I do. Why does it seem sketchy to you?

Just this morning my wife’s vehicle needed gas on my way home from gym and I didn’t have my wallet

I don't know. I'm getting old and am to lazy to research how secure certain things are these days.

I usually just wait until a bunch of other people I know use it with no issue before I jump on.

I didn't save my CC info for auto fill for the longest either.

If you see the word "tap" anywhere on the point of sale device, mobile wallet will work.

If you have a Samsung, use Samsung wallet. Your data is being sold whether you use a physical card or a digital wallet.

The way the transaction gets authorized in a digital wallet means the merchant never sees your 16 digit card number.

Google Wallet is handy. I've had samsung/samsung pay for years before

Sidenote: when this stuff was newish around 2014, Samsung phones had tech that apple did not. Their Samsung pay app could be used on older machines that didn't take Apple Pay. Was funny when a clerk would see me put the phone up to the machine and say, "Sir, we don't take Apple Pay" and it would work. I'd explain to them that Samsungs could communicate with the older swipe magnet thing.

I currently use Google Wallet primarily for LSU tickets and to store my credit cards to use on apps and websites(it works nicely between phone and computer/chrome).
But I also carry them in case I forget my wallet or leave a card at home.

Plus the physical card tap thingy has become pretty damned quick and painless. Debit cards no longer ask for pin or anything whereas your typical Google/Samsung/Apple wallet app will still ask to verify with face or finger print.

All of them will work, or does it have to say Google and you use Google wallet, etc?

I use Google Wallet. I don't use it that often but it's come in handy a few times.
