Why did the cashier take money out of the drawer and put in the tip jar towards the end of the video?
Seeding the tip jar?

The worst part of the video is the completely unnecessary AI narration

What do you mean “they”!?
It might have something to do with a certain type of fatigue.

Eh, at least he didn’t rob the guy.
He stole from him, though.
Are we at the point at which as long as the taking wasn't by force we're happy?

I do, yes. I waited tables for a few years to put myself through college, honestly it should be a requirement for everyone for at least a couple months.
What the person ordering the pickup order over the phone or online doesn't see, is the waiter/waitress/bartender, whoever took the order, still entering it into the computer and following that orders' progress through the kitchen. Then making sure your order is correct, adding napkins and silverware, any sauces or sides or other requests, and bagging it.
I don't tip like I would a sit-down order, but I throw a few extra dollars their way because they still did work to prepare your order for you.

I think he saw the theft or realized money was taken out by the jar looking different when he returned and was replacing the tip. I don’t know what his plan was to rebalance his drawer tho.

No but I’ll put whatever loose change I get in the tip jar ‘cause I hate to have to handle or carry coins.

No, the worst part was the smoke stealing money.
