Do you think the poor would exterminate the rich/wealthy if given the chance?

Poors will always be jealous of the wealthy even the well off working class. This phenomenon will never cease to exist.

Not if there's not a wealthy person somewhere pulling the strings.

Of course, then they would be dumbfounded when they are unemployed because big bad Mr. rich man wasn't around to employ them anymore.

Why bite the hand that feeds them. Twice in the past month I've seen wealthy people walk up to homeless people and give them hundreds of dollars.

Well considering they (read: you) could do it any time, yet instead sit around wish they were one of them (read: the actually wealthy), no, you won't ever do it.

No, but Progressives would exterminate their political enemies if they could get away with it.

Its weird, because you actually have plenty of poor people convinced that the super-rich have earned all their worth, and deserve every dime of what they get. It would take a long time to get to that point.

So, no.

No, because most poor people aren't monsters and don't resent the wealthy as much as Fox News wants everyone to believe.

Some would like to; others, not a chance. That's the truth of it. Overall, I'd bet that the majority of poor people don't have murderous resentment against the wealthy. I'd bet the majority of poor people would just like to be better off and let rich people go their own way. Those are my guesses.

Depends on how they earned it:

Athletes and entertainers = ok

Business men = bad

It's called "perceived relative deprivation" - and, if probably channeled (and in a capitalistic and free society like we used to have in the U.S.), it can be a good thing. The whole "greed is good" speech from Wall Street. This causes a rising tide to lift all boats.

What we are sliding towards now is the shared misery of Marxism.
