Absolutely. Historically the wealthy are almost always the first to get hit when authority stops functioning.

You realize you're a poor, right?

Wasn't that basically the French revolution?
Mope. The French Revolution was incredibly complicated and there was some of that but I'd say it was more of a full on "change how society works" revolution. There was a ton of odd stuff going on that people forget about.

We talking about a reverse Purge?

Politics board.
Still the answer is no. The poor admire and seek to emulate the rich. They will always find someone poor'er than them to hate, or even hate each other. The greatest trick the rich ever played was to convince the poor that it's someone else who is to blame for what they themselves lack. It's why poor people complain about social welfare and not corporate welfare.

In the movies it is always so cool when they get slaughtered. They always act like they are so far removed from the situations....and yet...

They'd try. If hey succeeded then they blow all the money in a short amount of time then look for others to rob. Vicious cycle of thuggery.

Disagree. If they succeed then they'll install a communist government and control everything

Of course they would. And vice versa.

That's what happened in Venezuela. Now they're paying for it.

Is this the thread where all the posters pretend to be wealthy/rich?

Twice in the past month I've seen wealthy people walk up to homeless people and give them hundreds of dollars

I'm probably one of the poorest on here. No arguments from me.

I ain't making shite up. There's some weird shite that happens: a couple of months ago when o first moved up here, my bosses were telling me that it's not unknown to see homes less being dropped off by limos (I haven't seen it). There's some organization that I guess sends college kids out to spend time with them too because I see people in their early 20s sitting around homeless communing with them. Odd stuff is happening.

Only under the direction of "them", like they did in 1918 in Russia.
The masses don't act on their own, there is always somebody guiding them.
