I wouldn't expect anything to be allowed open until sometime in June.

They want to see 2 consecutive weeks of lower cases.

Then 3 weeks of lower cases.

Then reinfection will be the worry.

Then it's about to be cold again.

The story trending up is that corona is mutating and we need to lockdown a lot longer.

This is very true. Once that stimulus money comes in and the unemployment money comes in,most will say screw this.... I can stay at home and drink beer and grill steaks and just chill..... BUT when that money stops people will have a fit.......

So if we are 10 days behind on testing then we are already there.

I'm just telling you what my hospital administration told us. 2 weeks of lower cases/deaths is the benchmark they're shooting for. No clue what that means though as far as lifting all the regulations.

You could try to make that argument but I doubt they were including lag time

Well, having it jump species again isn't ideal.

Any official pushing to open the economy is seen as insensitive and dangerous. There are 10s of lives at risk.

Nobody will give a crap if he does. By that point nobody will be staying home unless they are old or sick

I don't really care about any of that

I'm tired of all the nonsensical bickering

I just know what the experts recommended

Yes. If only because he doesn't want the blowback if people get stupid and we get a rebound in cases.

I mean, I get what you're saying but now you're being obtuse for whatever reason. Saying "10s of lives" as if it hasn't taking out over 500 people in less than a month is pretty fricking stupid.

It's dangerous. People are going to die.

There is no way around it.

I would expect late May. Some seem to think everything will magically reopen May 1st.
