That bullshite.....there are a very few people on AEW that can outwork Reigns or McIyntre and even less that can outwork AJ, Rollins, Nakamura, DB, Cole, Gargano, etc.
To say that AEW has that much talent that is better than basically anyone in WWE is laughable ...I mean shite Mike Kanellis can outwork Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy.
ETA AEW's champ is Chris Jericho whose work has been shite for the last 2 years.....Lesnar at this point is as good as Jericho.

These neck beards don’t realize that the general public doesn’t give a shite about workrate. At least back in the day I believed the workrate guys like Benoit, Eddie, and Malenko could kick my arse. Joey Janella and Orange Cassidy, not so much.

Definitely.
Pretty sure a lot of the casual that have stopped watching wrestling were the ones that loved bra and panties matches. They don't care about the workrate of female wrestlers.

Yea I mean it's like I said in my earlier post ....I wouldn't say Reigns is a workrate guy....I guess we could say Pac is.

No doubt it was a money draw but the problem is that advertisers bring more money.
I believe that if Vince never had aspirations of going public with WWE we might still be in the Attitude era.....BUT it might be airing from 10E - 12E though

They went public in Oct 99 though. They didn't go PG until a decade later with the Mattel deal.
The first TV14 episode of Raw was actually when Taker "crucified" Austin on his symbol.

They don't have to beat them in the ratings.
They're on TNT. TNT wants them to get good ratings and make descent money for them via commercials purchased.
AEW needs to do 2 things -
1.) Put on an appealing Wednesday night show that will continue to draw solid rating numbers (for TNT).
2.) Turn a profit. This was WCW's downfall. WCW was losing a ton of money annually.
I believe AEW can do both. The biggest challenge they will face will be 6 months or so from now in keeping the show fresh with new faces, rivalries, and storylines.

You’re right. There isn’t a soul at AEW who can spear and cut promos “suckerin suckatash” like Reigns.Stone Cold and Rock had simple move sets but their charisma was unmatched. This is where AEW has the advantage, their wrestlers can pretty much say whatever the frick they want and not read a script word for word.

Other than the Elite who is it? I'll tell you who it's not....Darby Allin, Joey Janela, Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, Private Party, SCU, Sammy Guevara, and the list goes on. You wanna do women.....none on the AEW roster are in the same class as Bayley, Flair, Becky, or Sasha. They are about to put their women's title on a man that is a poor man's Nia Jax.

Maybe but it sure seems like a lot of them outside of the Elite could use some help.....I mean did you see the stuff with Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy on The Road To series? It was cringe worthy.....Darby Allin whined all the way to his match with Cody....yea I'll admit Cody, the Bucks, and Kenny are elite level pro wrestling talent.....which is why I'm sure they are building all their shows around them but they are going to need something else. I mean I've yet to see anything on AEW events that's half as entertaining as most of the 24/7 title segments.

Roman's promos are his weakest spot easily, just like with Rollins, although Rollins is better than Roman.
The top guys in WWE need to cut good promos.
At the same time though I wouldn't say AEW's roster is a master class at cutting promos

Which is why its hard to take AEW's female division seriously
I've never been about the "woman's evolution". People just want to see hot women in the ring, and are indifferent to whether or not they are good in ring workers.

That is my point
I don't think the women's evolution is drawing in casual viewers. People would rather see Torrie Wilson and Trish Stratus in a bra and panties match than Tamina, Nia, etc.
Charlotte only gets attention because she is a Flair but she isnt that attractive
