I haven’t received a paycheck in about 18 years. I don’t even get a printed pay stub. It’s all payroll deposit and e-mailed pay stub.

Who here still gets an actual paycheck?

You mean, do i give an actual pay check to my little peon workers? I’m not sure. Payroll department handles mundane matters like that.

Our owner refuses to go direct deposit. He still sits there every payroll and signs every damn check. All 400 of them.

My wife gets a paper check, but her office only employs 4 people.

ETA: I don’t think I’ve ever received a paper check.

My wife works part time for an accountant that would still hand write all his payroll checks until he sold out this year. Dude did things old school.

Yes, my owner too. Not 400 but all of them. I think this is smart as an owner because you can see the money going out. It sucks for me though because I made too much money last year and my owner has started working harder.
