How do you like living in New York City? I was thinking about living there earlier today, and oddly enough I saw your thread. I don't recall seeing another New York City person on here so I thought it was a rather cool coincidence.

My kids go to public in WA state but it's an excellent district and we moved here specifically for them to attend.

Do you have something against putting a period at the end of your sentences? Serious question.

Also, your kid is either going to be smart, or not. The school won't do much to change that

My wife is devout Catholic, we attend a Catholic Church and our kids go to a catholic School. Within 10-15 years Catholic schools are going to be full of SJW’s.

Planning on it but around here all of the public schools are pretty nice. No reason to pay when you can get the same level of education for free.

In Texas public schools are fantastic for the most part
I remember back in HS, wondering why all of the legit athletes here were from public schools but all of the ones from other states went to private.
It's honestly crazy how shitty public schools are compared to Texas.

We're outside LA, and we send the kids to the public high school where I teach.
I've had both of my kids in class.

Went to private school my whole life and its sad how many of those folks are losers...people who pay private school tuition need it to sound better to justify the price, or just need Jesus in their kids life cause theyre hardcore. If a kid wants to be succesful he will be no matter what.

Same experience.

I went to private k-8 and public high school. The public school got me ready for life.
I teach in a public school and will be sending my kids to a private school.

Private
We have pretty good public schools for those that would rather that option

I currently have my kids in private school in Baton Rouge, but am very interested in the new Basis charter school that opens this fall. I attended a Q&A with the director, and it seems well structured. Anyone else in the BR area heard of this?

Private since 4 or 5 months old.
It’s been a long, expensive strange trip.
One went to high school boarding school.
My wife and I were both private school as well.
