Having SJW teachers isn't all that problematic if you don't allow a school to be the sole source of education for a child. You can unschool easily - I always had my grandfathers and father ask me what I learned, in earnest, and corrected any obvious bullshite I was told.
Also, your kid is either going to be smart, or not. The school won't do much to change that - it'll just provide some networking and a safe, stable location to be.

One of my grandfathers was a high level John Bircher - not exactly shocked he was worried about public schooling, even in rural Alabama.

I went to one of the better public schools in Louisiana and I wouldn't recommend it. Not due to sjw stuff, but the sheer # of trashy burnout losers.
