If you don't have a side in a game and a friend's favorite team is playing, do you root with him or against him?

If I truly have no dog in the fight, I'll root for them because when my friends' teams win, we celebrate and I like to drink at bars with my happy friends.

Hoddy Toddy!

Did y’all get a trophy that year?

Against.

I have no dog in the fight, so at least this creates interest through conflict/disagreement.

Depends how obnoxious the friend is about their fan hood.

Depends on my friend's attitude.

If he is humbly interested in watching his team play, I'll root along with him.

If he's being a douchebag and rubbing it in my face that my team lost earlier that day and about how his team is going all the way, I'll root against.

I became a blackhawks fan because when the red wings were good, he was such a dbag I didn’t want to be around him. I didn’t even like hockey but it was so bad that I picked the team he hated most just to piss him off. It was really great when the hawks started winning cups

I root against them because I don't respect most of my friends fandoms. I see them as mostly band wagon fans. Most of my friends who attended other schools were outside of the SEC and therefore not nearly as passionate as the people I know in the conference. They think they're big fans but they don't even know the passion of the SEC.

I got a close friend who is an auburn fan. I always hated them when stubby was there but since Cam left I really don’t mind them as much because it makes him happy. I wouldn’t pull for them in public but I don’t hate them anymore.

I’ve got family and friends who are Bama fans. I hope their fall is ruined annually. frick them.

It depends on the teams with friends and family.
