I recall the issue being one of the college conference ones like girls of the B1G or ACC. It was late 90s and the college ones to me were the best. Looking at the covers maybe October 97

At Nicholls State in the early 70s, the Playboy Mags Always sold out the first day the Bookstore put them out. January 1972 was the first full frontal nudity issue which showed the rug on a centerfold. That issue was sold out in a couple of hours. I was there.

I go back a good bit further because there was no showing of bushes when I first discovered Playboy. You got pics of beautiful women baring their breasts and butts, but bush was totally taboo at the time.
I don't remember the first playmate I ever gazed my eyes on, but I think it had to be in the early 60's since it was after my dad died, and he passed in 61. One of my uncles used to buy Playboy at a local newsstand and he'd carry it home in the brown paper bag so nobody knew he had bought it.
Times have changed for sure.
