I was driving through a neighborhood being developed, being careful not to enter any houses under construction, when I see these two signs for the Healthcare Heroes.

Do you have any Healthcare Heroes in your neighborhood?

Guy who lives across street from me does IT for Ochsner and put up one of those signs last week.

Need to make sure I thank him for his service.

This shite is so ridiculous.

The local methadone clinic has a giant "Heroes Work Here" sign in the front window. It's pretty funny.

I’m a white man in a buttton down and nice car, so I don’t think the Elmer Fudds would have stopped me

For a select few, it should say "a tik tok maker lives here."

Some corporate lackey had to bring it to a meeting, get it approved, distributed, and then placed in the yard.

I'm surprised we don't see more nurses and teachers in slings. Seems like there would be a lot of dislocated shoulders from patting themselves on the back all the time.

Americans love to label themselves “heroes”, “brave”, “strong” after a crisis.

The thought of putting a sign in my yard calling myself a hero is so ridiculous it has never crossed my mind until now.
