I listen to rap but not any of the new trap music garbage. Kendrick is fire.

NO. Rap is unlistenable. Most of it I do not understand, and I'm pretty sure it's for the best that I don't.

I listen to old cash money, three 6, biggie, snoop, Eminem, Dre, Ice Cube, Wayne, big moe, Ludacris, all the time and I never deny it.
I find alot of the new rap sucks for the same reason I think a lot of the new rock sucks. It's lazy simple unimaginative beats with no soul behind them. It's hard to explain, but outside of a few artists, music just sounds dead to me.

Nope, I don't deny it. I still spin the Ice T and 2 Live Crew from time to time.

I listen to old school rap on backspin, amazon, etc. I also listen to many other varieties from country to classical (seldom)
I'm the opposite, I don't listen to rap, but I often pretend I listen to a little so people won't know I'm a total square

I didn't realize how many squares are on the OT. A bunch of truck driving, country music listening baws in here.
I listen to Logic (he's the best right now, IMO), J Cole, and older Kendrick the most.
A lot of the newer stuff is just trash mumble rap, though.
I listen to pretty much any genre of music, from classical to rap, classic country to electronic, etc...

While I do like your edit, it's "Thang" not tang. But now I want tang.

I have eclectic taste in music, and I don't give a shite that people know I listen to Three 6 Mafia.

I listen to early 90s rap or late 90s metal when I run
Angry, violent and/or intense is what I need to run

Nope. Rap sucks. Period. And for our friend Afreaux, accordion music is better than rap.

If you don't like rap, don't fricking listen to it. Mexico has our murder rate beat, and they're listening to fricking accordion music.
As for myself, [c]rap is the one music I do not listen to.

I listen to a lot of white rappers, mainly aussie rappers.
Grieves, Bliss and Eso, Seth Sentry, Pez, and so forth.
Typically, I can relate to what they are talking about more than the ghetto rap.

the OT badges of honor:
-have no fashion style/taste whatsoever. only wear cargo shorts and/or wrangler jeans from kmart
-never buy or lease a new car (especially german). only purchase used trucks or suv's, with cash (never financed) and drive them for 10+ years til the wheels fall off
-never listen to, or have any clue in regards to, popular music

I've listened to old school rap before, not really my thing, I'm mostly a heavy metal, alternative rock person.
