Do you like it when certain people get attacked or raped in prison?

And I think prisons should take every reasonable precaution to make sure it doesn’t happen.

This is beyond question unless you either reject the 8th Amendment, or even worse in this scenario, believe punishment should be meted out by other convicted criminals completely outside the public and legal channels of the state.
If these crimes are egregious such that they warrant greater punishment than simple prison time, that should be determined and carried out by the state. There's really no sensible way to suggest anything otherwise if you believe in law and order.

Sure, I don’t mind when pedophiles get raped or die in prison. True justice isn’t always pretty.

1. Regardless of how richly someone might "deserve" it, prisons are supposed to be under the control of the administration, not the prisoners. Doling out justice is the function of the legal system, not inmates.
2. How closely do you think prisoners vet this stuff? The courts get it wrong sometimes, and we're counting on lowlifes to get it right? "Yo, see the new guy over there? I heard he molested a little girl." So some poor bastard doing time for bad checks gets his head smashed in.

Usually you're supposed to hand over conviction papers when you go to prison. Although sometimes people can get attacked for being child molesters based on suspicions that don't have a lot of solid proof. I.e. The guy is white, middle to old aged, has bad social skills, seems creepy, and maybe doesn't want to talk about his crime, etc.

When it comes to child molesters I think there should be a recognized punishment of "Death by Prison Rape."

Does anybody seriously die from prison rape?
I read a story on Reddit one time where some guy claimed that a child molestor got raped to death while he was in prison. But I honestly was about 99.99% sure that story was BS. If that story was true I'm pretty sure he could have posted a newspaper article to prove it.

I don't have any sympathy whatsoever for pedophiles. I hope their asses are shredded constantly. They're on the same level as murderers in my mind. They might as well murder the little kids that they molest because they sure kill their abilities to trust.
