Even if I was an unattractive overweight slob (which I'm not), it wouldn't make you any less disgusting for sleeping with your dog.

I am ok with it. We are done to one dog, but they were both only 30-50 lb dogs.

And let me add, if you were on fire and my dog was on fire and I could save just one....well, you ain't gonna make it.

Not very often.
I’ve got 150lb Great Dane and 80 pound Boxer Dane mix. When I’m gone hunting my wife will have a weak moment and let them get into the bed but she puts a sheet down for them.

He sleeps up there until I come to bed. Then he moves to his bed

My 5 lb pup has always slept with me and i swore i would never put him out.
But I had surgery and was being annoying by walking in the bed all night over my body. He also started peeing on the floor overnight.
Wife say enough, oh hail no and bought him a nice size baby gate pen and made him a "bedroom" complete with plush bed, toys and fresh blankets and blankets tucked in each night.
The door of his "room" is open all day and he goes in there just to chill sometimes. At night, he is all sprawled out like a tiny king in total bliss. He has never tried to jump out and doesnt whine to get out.
I now sleep better than i ever did in my entire life.
Everybody is happier and getting their best sleep.

I don't have a problem with dogs.
I don't have a problem with goats, pigs, sheep, etc... but I'm not sleeping with any of those either

You are comparing a dog to a sheep???
my puppy is an inside dog. She is very clean and used the pouty pads.

Mini Dachshunds and yes. Bought them a ramp for easy access

Our 80 pound English cream gets on the bed like clockwork at about 5AM and sleeps at the end for an hour. I generally tolerate that and won't let him otherwise.
I sometimes make an exception during storms or when our toddler demands he get up on the bed to play with him.

Yes it does. You're like a smoker. You can't tell how bad you fricking stink. And you're house is covered in dog hair.

My cat sleeps wherever the hell he want. Sometimes in my bed, sometimes in his bed, sometimes in the laundry basket, sometimes on my brand new shirt.
He makes the calls.
He makes the calls.
