Cajun and French speaking Creoles are about evenly depicted in media.
I think cajuns are more, but fair enough.

Still, your comment of the rest of the state relying on nola for culture is ridiculous.

Crawfish boils, zydeco, and a plethora of other cajun culture exist without Nola. Just admit that comment was a little outrageous

New Orleans is without a doubt the epicenter of culture in Louisiana.

Cajuns suck anyway. Short little hot-headed jabronis with hair gel always looking to start fights. They don't even speak French outside of a select minority.

Some "culture"

All this culture that I'm enjoying in Baton Rouge is because of New Orleans?

I wasn't sure who to thank, but now I know.

New Orleans has zero to do with Cajun culture

The bastardized dishes that NOLA restaurants call cajun food are all lifted from Acadiana

I have heard NOLA people maybe pretentious ridiculous statements before, but saying NOLA is the foundation of culture we enjoy in south LA takes the cake

Ummm No.

I love how non-NOLA folks like to pretend Creoles didn't exist.
