Long story short. This guy, who was 4 or 5 years older than me, who moved close to me when I was around middle school age. Just because he was older we thought he was funny an all, but he was a real dumbass. And he lied... A lot. It seems like every year in HS he would start off playing football and then end up not making the grades to play. He went to summer school in order to pass to the next grade. Even had to go to summer school to graduate HS.

Hadn't seen the guy in years.. Maybe 15-20 years. Came across him and he told me he was working for a certain company. He was a mechanical engineer on a job. I kind of looked at him like "really? you went to college". He goes on and tells me he graduated in Mechanical engineering from LSU and then went get his masters at Tulane. Then I remembered how much he lied because he could never just keep it simple, he had to go over the top.

I went ask one of the job recruiters I know, if they hired him and they said they did and asked me why. I just told them that I ran into him and that I was happy for him because I would have never thought he would have even gone to college. About a week later the recruiter told me that the guy I asked about had been fired. I asked why, and they told me because his education background was looked into and what he put on his resume wasn't accurate.

I felt kind of bad because they probably looked into it when I told them that I didn't think they would have even gone to college, I wasn't trying to snitch on anyone, but it's also funny he couldn't have just say that he had his B.A. in Mechanical Engineering from LSU, he had to add that he also had a MBA from Tulane.

Literally everyone. Doing Habitat for Humanity once a year for Greek Week isn't "involved in the community" or extensive charity work. Everyone has some shite like that on their resume.

After the 2016 Flood, the infamous contractor, Matt Morris, had told everyone he graduated from LSU in Construction Management. Come to find out, he dropped out of college after 1 semester.

Worked with a guy who said he was an Electrical Engineer in the Navy. Turned out his naval duties consisted of tending to the VCRs on his ship.

They get tax incentives to hire you. They'll let you file papers without looking at your resume.

As long as they pay me the rate for the job they hire me for, I don't give a frick if all I have to do is answer phones.

Seriously, why would I make up a story like this?

"Let me tell the board I knew this dude who was stupid, but then years later I see him and he tells me he went to LSU & Tulane.... blah blah blah"
