Looking to hold a large gathering in the woods near my home. I am expecting 75-100 people to show up and there will be a bonfire. My question is do I need to notify the police or city council? I don’t see why they would need to get involve do to our right of freedom of assembly... tia

Is it public land?

How many can fit on your houseboat?
