I always went the opposite route & assumed nobody was hitting on me unless they explicitly gave me a number or asked me out. I give people the benefit of the doubt for being friendly. The last thing I would’ve wanted was to be humiliated by thinking someone liked me and he didn’t.

Yeap. But thats an issue with men that can't take a hint and actually harass women too. They may have experienced it before.

I had a girl ask me something and we just started talking while waiting on the bartender. Her friend basically yells in my face that I have no shot and that she's not fricking me tonight. I have no idea where that came from.
It was very strange because I previously had no interest in interacting with these two broads.

I told some slut at Tiger Bar circa 2004 that not everyone who talked with her, was interested in fricking her.

I have a couple of friends who believe any guy who talks to them outside of their office setting is hitting on them. They tend to head off the imminent date invitation.
I'd like to have that kind of confidence...someday.
