years ago a coworker were in new Orleans late on a Thursday nite. and decided to get tattoos - nothing was open. I later learned that parlors are reluctant to give you a tat if you've been drinking.

Growing up it seemed like old war vets, bikers, and true badasses had tattoos. Now every man, woman, and child has a tattoo. Too played out IMO.
