re: Do you have any respect for adults who regularly play video games?

The idea that video games are for kids mainly emanate from the portion of the population that didn't have them growing up and bought them for their kids, so basically born in the 60s and earlier.

Eventually, most everyone in the US will have grown up after the video game age and it'll be considered just another hobby and not something "for kids."

Frank Underwood plays video games and he's the fictional most powerful man in the world.

When other dudes tell me it's weird to play video games, I like to remind them that they regularly stare at nude pics on a computer screen and beat their meat. That usually puts things into perspective.

While I do not play video games much, I know people who do. People of all ages. People older than I, etc. A friend of mine use to play a game in which he and 4 or 5 other guys played together (they would meet up online, not in person) a few times a week. Maybe 2 nights a week, when everyone went to bed, he would go play and end up playing 4, 5 hrs at a time. He wouldn't go to be until 2 or 3 in the morning, but eventually those two nights of not sleeping much caught up with him and he doesn't play anymore, but that was a hobby of his. Why would I care if he does that?
