This dog is awesome in the woods and in snow. He is fun for our family. He just likes to play rough. People sticking their face in a strange dogs face are just stupid.
Don’t play rough with dogs. It teaches them to be aggressive. Especially dogs who are more aggressive by nature. Dogs can also tend to view kids as threats to their place in the hierarchy of the pack so often dogs will bite kids when they would never bite an adult.

One day we’ll all discover Rebloke is an automated trolling program.

There are no bad dogs, only bad owners.

Yep it’s going to end up dead when it screws with the wrong neighbor.

I’d shoot you in the face not the dog.

There is a difference between being protective and aggressive. My Malinois was unaggressive and would ignore other dogs as if it was beneath his dignity to acknowledge their presence. If there was a need, however, he would go full protective mode.
Some St. Bernard dogs have a timidity fault that makes them aggressive.

Quick Lab story. Our’s lives inside and can hardly control himself when people come in. He wants to be all over them. When someone comes in, I let him out while he gets his craziness out while in the yard. I let him back in, he greets the visitors, and after a min or so he is fine. He wants to sit by them though.
He never bit anyone although he is aggressive at the door when deliveries are made or in the yard as people ride by on a bike or walk by. He wears a shock collar to keep him in the confines of our yard - no fence.
He is now 7 and he started to behave differently towards people on adjacent property. He will let someone walk up to him, he may bark some, but they can pet him. As they pull away he will lunge and recently nipped a guy’s wrist and pants leg.
I now tell people he will bite. He is very protective of his family. He is a living security alarm system.

That was the whole damn point of this thread. I have a St Benard that jumps fences that I paid way too much for, oh and is a real A-hole like his owner.

I have a jack Russell/ chihuahua. She runs on batteries she’s so small

My stepmom breeds jack russells. She races them. They run a track and shoot through a hole in a bail of hay. First one through the hole wins. She has won the national championship. They have a high vet bill from them tearing into to each other. Several fights were to the death.

I have 2 dogs. One is a chihuahua & duchene mix, the other is a mutt. I think she has some jack russell in her, but they are good dogs.
They both are inside dogs. They are house trained and it didn't take long to house train both of them. When I first got them, I put them in a kennel at night and when I left the house and every time I let them out, I took them outside right away. So it took maybe a month, month and a half before they would go to the door anytime they had to do their business.
The mutt loves people and requires a lot of exercise. The chihuahua mix, he is protective as hell and when I am home doesn't leave my side for the most part. When he does, it's to go with my other dog, to go outside and chase each other and wrestle around in the yard.

People with undisciplined animals are the worse. Nothing worse than visiting someone when their stupid arse dog jumps all over you and is just downright disobedient. Sad really.
