Woke up last Saturday thinking it was Sunday.

Was stoked a minute later. It’s usually the opposite.

No but about 8 years ago I did not get much sleep and felt off. I went to work and could not seem to concentrate. My thoughts seemed to run out of my head, with me grasping at them. Could not even reply to emails. I went home early and took a nap, and was fine. But I was terrified while it was occurring, and felt that's what it must be like to start to slip into dementia.

That’s the worst way to wake up on a nice weekend morning.

It happens to me a couple days a week.

Today I woke up and thought it was Monday.

Are you retired? I’m retired and often don’t realize what day of the week it is. Being retired, there is really no need to know. All pretty much the same to me.

There are times when I wake up on the road and have no idea what state or time zone I'm in.

Couple of weeks ago I put "2022" on close to 150 pages of QC and QA. I had to return to each place, one-line through each 2022, and initial, and put 2023. Then triple check each one. Why? Because inspectors would go straight to the one I didn't correct and write up at least 3 deficiencies. They would ignore common sense.

Anyway, yes I forget what day it is practically everyday since I'm semi-retired.

Yep, every day is Saturday except for Sunday which is my day of rest and church.

Took a while to get used to being off every day. Most the time I’ll check my phone in the morning to make sure of the day, and not be accused of early stage dementia if asked.
