Do you ever recall having this perfect weather after a hurricane?

Hurricanes will often leave a few days of nicer weather behind them, but the weather behind Zeta is particularly nice because of the cold front that is also pushing through the southeast this morning.

No question about it. It’s amazing outside.

I don’t like it this cold typically, but with so many people not having power it’s definitely a fortunate thing right now.

Hurricane Ida on November 3rd 2009 had a cold front right behind it. I was in GOM at the time riding it out.

It definitely wasn't after Gustav. It was hot as balls in my house with no power for a week and half.

Nope. I’m a Gustav bro and can confirm it was hot as dog piss after Gustav.

I know this because I was working my dick off outside after Harvey but it left very unseasonably cool weather after

That same cold front was why it dropped 50 inches of rain

I think the cool front is what gave Zeta more punch
Combo of the two blowing in at same time

Lived in SW FL in 2005 during Hurricane Wilma. It was in the high 60’s for about a week after the storm. If you have to be without power for 16 days, might as well have good weather.

It was that way in Houston the week after Harvey. 70s and low humidity in late August / early September for like a week. It was almost like a "my bad fam" from God
