lot of people in relationships are not nearly as happy as they convince themselves they are.

Nobody is happy in relationships, they're just putting on a show.

The same thing for single people who seem happy.

No one is ever really happy because life is terrible. Now quit whining about it and get back to work.

I don't believe in "destiny" but sometimes I feel a pressure to find a life partner. But then I remember how miserable all the married guys on the OT are and how excited people are when they get divorced and it snaps me out of it. I'm sure I'll get married eventually but nothing good can come from trying to rush into something

First off, no I'm not.

Secondly, in you are constantly in and out of relationships, then if I had to guess, you're not in the relationship for the right reasons to begin with.

Advice: Take dating more seriously, and stop thinking of dating like chat roulette. Sounds like neither you nor those you are dating are wanting to put forth any effort to make things work, and it sounds like you just expect it to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle instantly and last forever into a marriage.

Sometimes it happens where the beginning of the relationship isn't roses and cherries, but after some work/effort/patience/time&experience, it becomes something much greater than you thought.

nope. I have a damn hard time trying to keep women from catching feelings actually.

Women who act on "catching feelings" are not longterm ones iMO. To base marriage off of "feelings" is childish. Then when they dont "feel in love anymore" obviously divorce occurs. Truth is, everyone hits a moment where they "dont feel in love anymore", but most seem to give up because they dont know what else to do. Guess this is what marriage in the 21st century was doomed to be like with mainstream culture/portrayals of marriage on tv. Issue is, the camera doesn't keep rolling after the weddings most often.

I did, and that's why I decided to do something about it. I started to lift weights every day, try new things at least once every two weeks, and began positive speech to myself to counteract the negative shite (it's name is Dan and frick DAN).

Because we live in the real fricking world. Everyone is prone to mistakes, and errors. We're all humans. The marriages without issues and road blocks have NEVER EXISTED. Only in the last 150 years has marriage become more of the "Feeling" bullshite instead of the business connection. Now, Im not saying people should be forced to marry, but dont believe everything is going to be great all the time. Great marriages that I've known still went through lots of shite to get there, and they will die with someone who they can say really stuck with them through everything.

And if Im correct you went through a divorce of your own....which Im sorry to hear about, but thats the truth. If you didn't expect to do that going into marriage, then of course it failed. There is a ton of value in persevering if you can do it, but if you're not ready, then dont do it. You're not ready to be married. Just ask anyone who has been married for awhile, they all had their moments of doubt, ALL of them.

I'm not a virgin. There is still traces of each girl I've been with in my blood. They're always with me.

Do you ever feel like a plastic bag Drifting through the wind?
Wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin Like a house of cards One blow from caving in?

I briefly felt bad about it the other day. Then, I went on Facebook and saw a lot of people's "vacation" photos and thought to myself, "those people did not go on a vacation. They merely drove their big arse family hundreds of miles to a coastal location and ended up doing about as much work as they usually do at home. The only difference is that they spent a shitload of money."

I wouldn't say I'm destined to be lonely, but I don't ever plan on having a family or getting married just because I think it's a big waste of money.

I'm honestly someone who doesn't mind being alone though and honestly sometimes prefer it.
