Do you eat leftovers?by Artificial IgnoranceKnow someone who refuses to eat leftovers. Cook once and eat 1 or 2 more days. Tastes better. Easier. If you don’t eat leftovers, why not?
You realize 95% of the food you eat at a restaurant are “leftovers”?

I generally cook in bulk, so yes, we do eat leftovers.
When I cook beans it is never less than 2 lbs., gumbo is never less than 2-3 gallons, meatballs/Italian sausage red gravy will have 50 meatballs and 3-4 lbs. of Italian sausage in it and about 4 gallons of red gravy.
We eat on whatever I cook for a couple days and I put the rest in quart freezer bags for later consumption. That way I have a good supply of already cooked food on hand and usually just have to make some rice or pasta and a salad to round out the meal down the road.

My dad never eats leftovers and can never have the same meal twice in a day. We made a big pot of beef stew for lunch then he couldn’t have it for dinner. Man he’s a spoiled MF

Gumbo tastes better when reheated.

50/50 I'd say.

Shieeeet. I hate cooking for every meal. I'll make a huge batch of chicken fried rice or spaghetti and meatballs and eat off of them for days.

I cook on Sundays and we eat on it til Tuesday. Wife only works half day on Wednesday so she cooks and we eat on it til Friday. We usually go out to eat on Saturday night unless one of our kids invite us over for supper or it just a fend for your self night.

I made a pan of paella last week out of shrimp, chorizo, mussels and calamari, my wife and I had to negotiate over the last plate. The 3rd day was the best.

I'll eat leftovers for days on end.

I’m decent with leftovers but only for 2 days or so.
Another item that can be better leftover is pizza. Mainly because most places don’t cook it enough for my liking. If it doesn’t have some browning of the cheese, it’s not done.
Of course never ever reheat it in the microwave. I hate microwaves in general though, almost never use it.

If it's something I like, I'll make extra specifically to have leftovers.

I cook just so I can have leftovers

Some things taste better the next day. Chili is a good example.

frick yes I eat leftovers and I truly believe something is wrong with people that don't. It's not unheard of me eating leftovers for 4 days if it's something really good and we happened to make too much of it.
