I usually do. Not always. I remember anytime I’d ask my grandad if he had a knife he’d say “Are my pants off?”

I always have my knife unless I’m going somewhere that has metal detectors. Sporting events, concerts, etc

I used to until one got confiscated at airport security.

Had this happen to me at the Chattanooga airport, was an Old Timer my Grand father had given me. One of the TSA guys took my address and mailed it back to me. It was in the mailbox when I returned from my trip

In this day and age that might not be a good idea. I understand a knife can come in handy as a tool, but it can be used as a weapon as well and can be used in a situation which is so ever so common these days.

Every day gym running hiking working out driving fishing. I like the leek knife the most, the blades are dagger style so they break off a bit and I always keep a extra blade to swap in my desk for when I finally think it’s time for a new blade.

Funny story a leek knife saved my life once. I caught a giant grouper in about 230’ of water and reeled it up about only 50-60’ deep and couldn’t get it to come up any more I could see the flash saw it down there so I put on my mask to check it out got about 30’ away and saw it had about 5-6 hooks in its mouth and all still had string on it all the way to bottom on the ship wreck so fished was stuck on my pole to my boat and tied to the wreck below. I immediately knew it was a pb gag grouper so went back up grabbed my fins and spear gun and went back down, speared the gag and went to swim up get a breath and cut it free. I hugged the shear gun to my belly and started swinging up. The spool wrapped up in my swimming trunks and my long sleeve shirt, and I was tied to the fish by the spear and tied to the bottom of the ocean by the fish…. No idea how I did it but I calmly swam back down couldn’t untangle the shorts and shirt, pulled out the leek knife cut my shirt off and parts of my shirt off and swam up got a big breath went back down butt naked cut the fish free and grabbed the gun and swam to the surface and boated that monster.

Crazy day of the water. My buddy top side is a diver but not much of a fishing guy and he was litterally on the radio asking for help. He said I was down for like 4 min. It seemed like I was only down for a bit. But I think when I realized I was about to be dead everything slowed down.
