I’d give every poster here another OT 10 and up their ACT to 37.

Yes, this is all a simulation being run by machines to determine whether or not humans can evolve into a positive to the machine world. By the time that machines reach the point of determining the fate of humanity, the DNA of every human alive will be on record. All DNA is after all, is programming. So they insert the DNA (of only people capable of reproducing) into the program at the bottleneck (the bottleneck in our reality of course only exists to limit sample size in theirs) and let things run. The DNA that results in the best outcome (by their metric) is sent to another bottleneck program until they reach a point a decision has to be made to either a. ignore humans and provide them no help/eliminate them or b. protect and aid the humans with the DNA that benefits them and deleting those with faulty programming. Either way it will be the start of the man vs machine wars.

Because they are without a doubt using Quantum computers to run the simultaneous that means from the time they/it decided to run the simulations to the time a decision is made will probably be less than 24 hours (their time) our own simulation might take a couple of minutes tops, which brings up something that is fascinating to me.

Our programming (DNA) has a built in ability to discern time, so things should pass by super fast, but they don't. Our entire existence from birth to death probably takes less than a picosecond but to us it's much longer and the why is whats so fascinating to me.

Because they are using Quantum computing our reality is being a created at the speed of light and everyone knows that the closer you get to the speed of light the slower time moves. It works the same in dreams, dreams are created and done in the blink of an eye, yet when you're in them they seem to last for hours even days, same principle. Fascinating isn't it?

When I think about how many lotteries I won just by being born where I was, and when, I sometimes wonder if I'm in a simulation designed to keep me comfortable.

How would the past be sumulated though? If there’s not a past, how can there be a future?

So medieval times had to happen at some point, right? Or was that simulated and by whom?

If we are then my programmer needs to update my program a little.

If you believe that the Christian God is omnipotent and omniscient (as I do), then yes.

Man’s biggest mistake is believing that he can think as God thinks.

The Bible says we’re made in God’s image. Humans have started creating simulated realities and attempting to advance that more and more. Hmmmm

So a simulation would nuke 2 Japanese cities? That's not ignorant bliss on any level

No, but caused you to believe that.

No one actually died.

The simulation could be on a loop. Or maybe the purpose of the simulation is not to provide a blissful experience. It could just be entertainment for some higher level of being or any number of other possibilities.
