I believe in ghosts, most people don't
I swear it on my grandpa's grave
I've seen 'em in the trees
I've seen 'em in my dreams

I’ve seen Ghost a few times. Lots of 40 year old bros with IPA guts, plaid shirts, and long beards see them too.

In the winter, when it's really cold, and I should be under the sheet, blanket and comforter, I'll wake up with no cover over me. When I go to sleep I'm under the cover, but I'll wake up freezing, and be outside the covers. I have some respiratory issues and get sick easily, so this is a bad situation. Anyone think a ghost is messing with me?

Definitely. I grew up in a haunted house in Charleston.

Along with that, I’ve had multiple experiences in places varied as Roper Hospital, Charleston Naval Shipyard, and the Colosseum in Rome.

When I have some time I’ll share some stories.

My wife likes to go to those haunted plantation B&Bs. I’m like do you believe in ghosts? If not then waste of time. If yes, then why would you want to go frick with them?

I can tell you when I was in 5th grade my friend and I used one and it gave answers to questions I know for a fact my friend didn’t know. I also know for a fact I wasn’t moving the thing. You have no reason to believe me, and I understand yours or anyone else’s skepticism, but those are the reasons I know without a doubt something other than myself or my friend was moving the thing on that board.

It also started writing out my SSN

So, did you ask it specifically for your SSN, or did it just hover over a few numbers, and you said "Hey, that's the start of my SSN!"? How many digits from start to finish?

If I asked a group of people if 3 or 4 random digits had any meaning to them, it would be pretty common to get some hits. Our brains look for patterns and connections.

And the 1st three numbers of an SSN are a sort of 'area code', so people growing up in the same area will often share the same 3 digits. It's just not so mysterious.

The Story of the Social Security Number

edit/add: I just looked, and the 1st four digits of my and my wife's SSN are the same except for 1 digit, and that is just one off (6 vs a 7). I'd even bet that if you were seeing this pattern, and it floated between the 6 and the 7, you would 'see' the 'correct' number.

... there was a hitchhiker on the side of the road, and I was in a good mood so I picked him up. He was carrying a massive bag that he could barely carry, so I helped him get it in the trunk.

After driving for a little while in silence, I decided to break the ice by saying 'so, I'm just wondering what is in that huge bag of yours?' And the guy replied 'mind your own fricking business.' I was shocked, so I didn't say anything else, and we carried on driving in silence. ...

'I told you already, mind your own fricking business.' ... Begrudgingly he got out, and I drove off. After a while I realized I still had his bag in the trunk. I've still got it, and I'm keeping it in the garage.

Are you trolling? It's pretty hard to believe you would keep a "massive bag that he could barely carry", that he was secretive about in your garage.

It could have stuff associated with a crime, or maybe flammable stuff. You are just going to keep unknown, questionable stuff in your garage? Weird, ...... or trolling.

We had Golden Retrievers when I was a kid. My favorite died when I was 15, and it bothered me for a long time, fast forward 10 years, I was home on leave, walked out to get in the car and saw a Golden about 50 yards down the road sitting and looking at me. It startled me for a second, I looked back and it was gone. I told my mom that I thought I saw Commander, she looked at me and said talk to your Father and Brother. They had seen the same thing.

I was once doing handyman work at a relative's house, working by myself. She swore up and down the house was haunted but I wasn't too concerned... Until something started knocking on the wall of a far-off room. I was frustrated at something to begin with so, I loudly taunted it by saying, "Oh, why don't you make yourself more known?" Well, it began beating very loudly on the wall in front of my face. Needless to say, I was done for the night after that.

Because ghost videos are all bogus.

No, I don't. Aliens may exist, but space is so vast they will not find us. It would be akin to asking someone to find one particular grain of sand on all of the Earth's beaches.

Surely with as common as it seems ghosts are based on even the stories on this board, someone should have captured real evidence. But, they haven't.

What would be real evidence ? Outside of videos and pictures? What other kind of evidence?

Absolutely objective research of some sort. An actual video that hasn't been hoaxed and isn't the product of camera artifact and can be reproduced.
