No,thus the term "first cause".
The flaw that you are trying to point out in my reasoning is the same flaw that exists in your reasoning. It is an inherent paradox of this line of thought. You just arbitrarily draw the line at a God having existed because that gives you comfort and support in your beliefs. I think that it is possible that existence has simply always existed because that is simpler, and it makes more sense to me.
You say that God exists without a cause. I say that existence could exist without a cause. I see no reason to necessarily draw the line where you do. Something has to exist without cause either way.
When it comes down to it, it is extremely humbling, and I feel compelled to simply admit my own smallness and lack of understanding. It is a question beyond the bounds of how my brain and I think all human brains work.

So, geauxtigerTM do you admit you have zero evidence to support being an atheist and it 100% a blind faith?

What I got out of that question was your inability to understand what the word atheism means

We're fine. We're just beset on all sides by people who, in our view, essentially believe in Santa Claus or Marduk, and expect us to find that normal.

I would bet 95% of the people who say yes are Christians. They believe in demons because someone else told them to believe in them.

When is the last time you have done that? Exactly!
Was that your "drop the mic and walk off" moment?

So why is it ok for you to question someone else's beliefs or lack thereof but yours are off the table?
Go back and read my first questions. I'm asking questions about the atheist faith. The athetist beliefs is what I wanted to know about. Unfortunately nobody has given any evidence to support there is no god. I have learned it is a blind faith.
Again, my religion is not the topic. Stay on topic.

I want to show you how ridiculous your question is. Do you believe in unicorns with Al Gore heads and chainsaw hands?

I used to collect baseball cards as kid too. Big deal.
I talked to an atheist today about his beliefs.
When was the last time you have talked to a pastor about religion. Exactly!

The argumentative nature is the easiest thing to explain. They are envious of what you "think" you have. The "false" peace you have is based on a lie and they want to set you straight so that you don't go around thinking you are special. No, no, no! You must share their belief that your complete existence ends at your fleshly death, thus sharing in their misery of being truly insignificant.

BR, ctiger is a troll, and a good one at that. he uses all of the classic garbage christian arguments that make you say "there's no way he's serious" but he never lets up

So you have zero evidence. You have nothing. You have zero evidence there is no god.
Ok, learned that awhile ago but ok.

Don;t be...I'm fine. Just as I was when I finally realized Santa was not real.
I know people don't like that analogy, but tough shite.
For a while afterwards, I felt lied to. I questioned other things people in authority told me. A little bit of "magic" was gone from my life.
And as time past, other more important things came into view and I was ok without that.
This is essentially what happened in regards to my belief in a deity. Once I no longer believed, I was fine. I have absolutely NO anxiety about it at all. My "magic" in life comes from the relationships I have with my family and my ability to learn about this INCREDIBLY universe we live in...and it's all awesome WITHOUT there being some supernatural puppet master pulling any strings.

Go back in the thread and find my YouTube link to a video of why atheists argue and see if you disagree with the logic.
In short, I argue because you guys force me to. I'm counter punching, not leading any attack. The problem you guys have is that, unlike the vast majority of time when your religion held sway over the world in a more proactive way, we are now in a time when folks like me don;t HAVE TO, at the very real risk or torture and death, keep quiet about our dislike or mere disbelief in your fables. And your reaction?
