What I got out of that question was your inability to understand what the word atheism means. I don;t claim to know for sure that there are no gods...your or anyone else's. That doesn't prove the lack of my giants so long as I define them in a such a way that your example can not prove them not to be there.
The giants are invisible...incorporeal...heatless, etc. Essentially, I'll define them in such a way so as they will be indistinguishable from shite that doesn't exist.
What does it mean then to say my giants exist, if they "exist" in a realm that can not be tested at all?

I came here to be entertained. Instead this thread has made me very sad and illustrates why religious threads are not allowed. I am by no means a super religious person, buy I have a very deep faith that is very important to me. I am so sad for people who don't have that as I cannot imagine having to wake up and face everyday without God. I truly don't understand. But what I have never understood is the the argumentative nature of nearly every atheist I've ever met. I don't try to argue with them about the existence of God as I recognize that as a losing battle. Why can't they give the same courtesy?

Ok, so I'll ask you since that other guy won't answer. What evidence do you have that the God you can't imagine not waking up with everyday actually exists?

I don't know. I have never been that way. I can agree to disagree and move on. Every atheist I've ever known refuses to do that. Nobody is going to convert anybody either way. It's wasted breath.
