Atheist is defined as: a person who disbelieves or lacks belief in the existence of God or gods.

You are claiming your not an atheist.

I actually think you might be retarded.

I lack a belief in gods. And? I'm not claiming there are no gods, just that I do not have a belief that there are...because those that claim gods exist have done a shitty job at arguing their case. There should not even be a NAME for what I am. What I am only exists because of your idiotic belief system.

So, geauxtigerTM do you admit you have zero evidence to support being an atheist and it 100% a blind faith?

Waiting on what exactly? I answered your question before I left. I've answered it again.

It's almost as if...you're not reading my responses?

May I humbly suggest that you stop.

It's like arguing with TIGRLEE and CptBengal about Jefferson and Lee. They are hopelessly outgunned, but that doesn't mean they won't keep firing their popguns at you.

I know, I know...

I'm drawn to this idiotic topic...haha.

There's something so strange about answering someone's question directly only to have them smirk back at you and suggest you didn't answer them and ask you again. It's hypnotic. It's like realizing your dog is talking to you.

They can, btw. One time my dog said something to me. No one was there to see it, but I know what I saw/heard...

So now you are saying you are not atheist. Where are you getting the information from that supports your beliefs? Waiting

Bottom line is I could list 1000 pieces of evidence from the beginning of mankind to today that supports there is a god and jesus. You would then go through and list 1000 reasons why each case is untrue.

I ask you to list one piece of evidence that supports your atheist claim of there being no god. You could not name one thing. Nothing. Zero.

I choose having faith when evidence is present rather than being an atheist with 100% blind faith in their beliefs.

I have watched more atheist vs christian debates on youtube then you ever will. I'm still not convinced on the atheist beliefs because they lack that little thing called evidence.

Evidence to support the existence of a god? Lay it on us.

ETA: Also, I asked you a simple question when you get around to it.

GeauxtigerTm, do you mind reading a quick story? Are you open minded?

The person in this story tells where her information was coming from.

Don't worry. You will laugh and say hog wash. You will make fun of it on here. Good times.

So will you read the story?

yeah, if there was a first cause, then something caused it, so yeah

doesn't mean it has to be supernatural

or there might not have to be a first cause

we just don't know

isn't that kinda awesome?

Google for exorcist videos. You can believe or not. I'm not going to beat anyone over the head, as we all know this is an area where there quacks galore. There are cases the Catholic Church has documented as having sufficient reason to believe there was possession, and you can see for yourself.

Because the Catholic Church is completely trust worthy. How much money do they bring in again?

Atheists don't have beliefs in god, by definition. So there, that issue is resolved. now make with the thousands of examples of proof god.

So now you are saying you are not atheist.

Whhhaaaaaaaaaat? I highlighted the definition you provided and agreed to it. the fact that you seem to think that is some positive belief system is your issue, not mine.

quote:

Where are you getting the information from that supports your beliefs?

No one...and I mean NO ONE is this stupid, which means you're being willfully obtuse. Which is fine. I'll answer you one more time and then be content knowing I've pantsed you in front of a crowd and HOPEFULLY someone who maybe was on your side will see just how idiotic this line of reasoning really is.

To reiterate...again...

I have no belief system when it comes to deities. I also do not have a belief system when it comes to faeries, or yetis, or leprechauns. I live my life assuming they do not exist...because I have seen no reason AT ALL to conclude they do. Unlike you, I'm intellectually honest enough to say that while I don't happen to think leprechauns are real THEY MAY VERY WELL BE, so I can;t rule them out entirely. But given there is no real evidence for them, I've fine with saying I don't think there probably are.

I don't need to prove my disbelief in leprechauns because the only reason I'm even talking about leprechauns is because I live in a world where OTHER did/do...so I have to react to that belief. If there had been no belief in leprechauns I would not even know about them to ask for evidence of their existence. We'd never get to the point of me not getting any evidence and concluding they probably don't exist. I'd be blissfully ignorant of my lack of belief in a thing I don't even know anyone claims exists...

My atheism only exists in a world where your belief system exists...which is the funny part about you claiming your view isn't at issue. It's the ONLY issue. Without you, my lack of belief in deities would not need a name or an explanation...because no one would be making the claim you are to which I would require evidence which you refuse/are unable to offer.

quote:

Bottom line is I could list 1000 pieces of evidence from the beginning of mankind to today that supports there is a god and jesus. You would then go through and list 1000 reasons why each case is untrue.

Congrats...you just described a debate! If your evidence is good enough, you'll win and convince me. If it isn't, it isn't. As of yet, it has not been... The fact that your "evidence" is unconvincing is not the problem of the person you're trying to convince. Come back with better evidence, or shut up.

quote:

I ask you to list one piece of evidence that supports your atheist claim of there being no god. You could not name one thing. Nothing. Zero

See above. Not even bothering to type that shite out...again.

Sounds like a bumper sticker I'd ignore for being stupid.
