yeah people who would theoretically get THAT powerful wouldn't just start to play nice when "the group" got to something manageable like 5-10 people/families or whatever. that drive would keep going, b/c that's the personality type

It isn't possible for one person or one cabal to control everything. But people with a lot of money, visibility, and connections can push outcomes in the direction they prefer.

for sure. some of these are documented and not secret
like when soros fricked over the UK for billions with currency manipulation/trading

I think you'd have to be pretty naive to think the super wealthy and powerful families in this world don't pull strings on major world events.
I mean, much of it isn't really hidden if you take the time to look into it.

no it's pretty clear that certain elite organizations operate in closed circles. If anything, in a post-911 world they operate much more openly than they used to.

I think if there were such a group, there would be another group that would form to try to stop that group from controlling things. If one group controlled the world, cultures, language, currency, etc would be more unified.
