I believe there are very powerful people that have a lot of sway in some major world events. Don't believe in the illuminati, though.

Kind of how I feel. I do believe there are several factions of economically gifted (modern vernacular) people who group together to alter the course of events.

No. However, there are a lot of stupid people in the world and since smart people will always be able to advantage of the stupid decisions made by the stupid people, it just seems like it was part of some invisible, great game all along.

Look at the wikileaks for the DNC and obvious there's definitely a group of people pulling the chains behind the curtain, but I doubt it's some occult group. Just a group of people with a lot of money buying influence and power. It's been that way for thousands of years I suspect.

There are powerful people but no global puppet master group. It's an interesting conspiracy to entertain until you have to face the fact that no one group can control that many people.
