I believe all people have good and evil in them and a lot of variables factor into what type of person they end up being and if the evil shows up more often than not (parents, community, culture, success/failure in later years).
I’ve seen evil sons of bitches in court and yes Evil exists. But i don’t necessarily believe it’s a supernatural force, rather just people that get pleasure from doing horrible things because of how they’re wired. Call it sick, but when a dog is that sick you put it down.
Most people that commit murder are just stupid and have no true appreciation for life. They’re thugs that think they’re acting big by shooting someone for wearing the wrong shoes. They usually know it was a mistake right after and regret it.
That’s not evil. That’s a cultural issue. Evil is the guy that shoots up the church. Evil is the guy that rapes the kid. Evil is the bastard that can do those things, smile, and wish to do it again.

Just because someone may fall under the classification of "mentally ill" that doesn't make them any less evil.
As to your question about the super natural, I don't think that is a qualifier. It's certainly one we can't truly answer. But it does make some feel better to blame the super natural.

Yes .Both good and evil exist. Light vs darkness. Love vs hate. Peace vs turmoil. Yahweh is good. Satan in evil. We exist with both influences in our lives fighting to win our eternal souls. We are all pulled in between the two every day of our life. Most of us settle in the middle. We follow the urging of the Holy Spirit one day, hour, or minute and turn around and succomb to the crafted temptations of the great deceiver in short order. A few of us get so lost in The shadows that we do terribly evil things under the full influence of Satan. He is very envious of the salvation that Yahweh made available to you and me through the sacrifice of his son. A salvation that he and his legion can never have. He hates Yahweh for this even more than being vanquished and damned after his rebellion. Yes, there is evil everywhere as there is the good of the Holy Spirit everywhere.
