It’s another opportunity to do something out of the ordinary to make my wife feel special and loved. Why would I not?

Usually buy the wife some flowers and cook a nice dinner. Grilled ribeyes, seared scallops and a salad on the menu tonight. Hopefully a lil mr nasty time as well...

Valentine's Day is for people who aren't married. Your anniversary replaces Valentine's Day after marriage.

Nah.

He brings me flowers on random non-occasions, we go out to eat whenever we feel like it, buy what we want when we want it, and sometimes we surprise each other with things out of nowhere.

It works for us.

No. We generally just do stuff for our children. I put the real effort in to our anniversary.

Not really - his birthday is next week, so he and I do something special for that.

We cooked eggs Benedict for the kids this morning. And I bought them some heart candy.

Then he and I took a romantic trip to Sam’s to stock up for the week.

Yes. We went to Desi Vega's last night and are going to Commander's for Lundi Gras brunch tomorrow.

I get my wife and daughter flowers and some chocolate every year from me and my son. Nothing over the top though
