Do you and your spouse both have full time jobs?

Do you both need to work full time in order to pay the bills and have spending money? Or can you make it off one salary?
I wish we still lived in the times where the husband works while the wife stays home, but we have to pay the CEOs of the CEOs. Bills, insurances, and day care are ridiculous now.
My wife works too many hours, but loves her job. Trying to get her to quit and find another because she doesn't spend enough time with my daughter and I, but I can't convince her. Most people would want less hours and more time at home

Your network determines your net worth.

We could live off of his salary, but not mine.

Retirement is a full time job.

Right now, yes and I hate it. Unfortunately her insurance is several orders of magnitude better than mine so it'll be this way for a while.

We both work cause of the cost of living in Colorado is fricking outrageous.
Would love for her to be a stay at home mom but it ain’t the cards with how expensive this state is. If we lived in the south we could make it easy on just my salary.

Yes, we do right now.
Would rather go back to living on my salary, because the house is fricked and she blows all her money, while I pay 90% of the damn bills.

Yes we both work full time. My wife works 9-5 with an hour lunch. My schedule is all over the place sometimes.
We could live just on my pay but we'd have to move and make some lifestyle adjustments. Wouldn't be the end of the world but she likes working and we don't have young kids anymore.

Wife works, I don’t. I did before we moved here but she makes so much money we decided it would be better for our daughter and us to have me stay at home. Helps too because she has to travel some and we don’t have any family here.

Yes, till the kids came along and briefly after the youngest left for college. That was more or less to help a friend out and out of boredom of an empty house. Money was not an issue.

Yes both full time jobs. Could get by on my salary, and still live the same lifestyle as last year.
Just like 2020: no vacations, concerts, bars, sporting events, movies..

My wife quit working when we had our 2nd child, around 2 years ago.
She will help out at a local boutique on a Saturday here and there (her best friend is the owner) to earn some cash, but otherwise, she is home.
I much prefer her not working. Makes life so much easier.

M wife is a stay at home mom, and I am self employed. I just thank God for work and pray He continues to provide. We have been blessed, but It’s not always easy.

I wish times would change and women would get super independent and work enough so I didn’t have to work. But to each his own, I guess.
