Sure, but then they don't have anything else to do but sweep the lot. What would you rather? Collect carts or sweep a damn lot. I swear some of yall are so inconsiderate.

Here's an idea. Go to your car and unload your groceries. Then take your kid and the cart to the corral. Leave the cart there and go back to your car with your kid.

In all seriousness, I make sure my wife puts the cart back when we go shopping. Usually when I shop I just carry the bags out because I'm not the shopper. Though I do return my carts at Walgreens inside the store. Very very few do that.

The grocery store (Rouses) has tons of corrals so again not an issue.
My super Warmart only has Corrals in the further away parking, so there I usually leave the baskets next to another basket. They also have multiple employees working the lots.

Not only do I take mine from the corral I will take mine from either the corral or one sitting out in the open (which then gets put in the corral afterward).

If there's no corral and I had to park far enough out I might not bring the buggy back, but that's about it.

No. Most of the time I walk it back up to the store from the area I originally grabbed it from.

But yeah, if I'm at a big box store, I put it in the corral.

I also arrange them so they will fit in an orderly fashion.

I'm in the north yet I usually have the cart boy walking out offering to drive it back inside within seconds of unloading it. If not it depends on the store & weather. Try to do my part to display why Walmart needs that greeter/cart person, local IGA only has one & our town is small so it's always put back, and at other places if all the carts are gone I usually leave mine next to my handicap spot for the next cripple (which is something I love to see when I'm on the receiving end of the cart by the car.)

Nope. Sometimes I park it dead center in the closest empty parking space to the front doors.
