It makes poor people and the outcasts of society feel better about themselves.

I watched that too, and that was awful, from the body cam perspective when he reached to his hip though that was a split second choice of if he was grabbing a gun or not. The cop got that wrong period, and should have consequences, but watching it in a tense situation you can possibly understand the thought process

I don’t particularly care for cops and I will admit when they frick up and he probably did but he was called to the scene for a guy in a hotel holding a riffle. It ended up being a BB gun and the guy reached to pull up his pants. They have a right to protect themselves.

Seeing as how the officer was arrested I don’t know any legitimate reason rioting and looting is still going on

This isn't about George Floyd. That was just the last straw.

I am about sick of the protests.

I recognize most are peaceful, but all of this shite is becoming absurd.

What exactly is it that protesters want? They want change? Okay? What exactly? They want police reform? Okay, how so?

Are there any actual specifics to these protests? When will it end?

Dude, like, what? That’s exactly what the protests are about. And to make matters worse, the police are proving the protesters’ point by inciting violence unprovoked all over the country. You need to pull your head out of the sand.

I agree that cops have killed non criminals and I understand protesting that.

However, I feel like police for the most part have taken a ton of shite from the violent protesters that they normally would never normally tolerate..

I just want this to end before more people are killed.

The ex police officer being killed by looters has me actually in tears tonight.

With 350 million people in our country there will always be some controversial black deaths by Police... just like there will always be controversial (insert race here) deaths by police.

If the black population continues to react to every one like this it will never stop.

don’t do illegal shite and comply with law enforcement if asked to do so

That's part of why they are protesting. People have done this and still been killed.

A good start would be an better vetting process put in place for all police department hiring.

Police being subject to real punishment when they break the law or ignore constitutional rights. Oops we had the wrong house my bad, but that guy that shot at us because we broke into his house yeah we are charging him with attempted murder.

If the consequences of doing a shitty job was actual real jail time instead of just having to look for a new job maybe I don't know they would do a better job.

I mean if you can't see black people are treated completely differently than any other races for similar crimes you really are not paying attention.

The protesters aren't being violent. Don't you get that? It's the fringe and the youth that want to get out and do destruction and commit crimes that are using the protesters as a shield for their actions.
