Do we not celebrate enough?

“You put the ball in the ref’s hands and run back to the sidelines.”
“Show no emotion!”
“Act like you’ve been there before!”
“Success is motivation to work that much harder!”
“2nd place is the first loser!”
I’m beginning to think this is why people get burned out on life as a whole. Depression, anxiety, hopelessness. What good comes from success? We should celebrate more.
Go eat a nice steak dinner or take a vacation after a promotion, have an all night party with friends after achieving that goal, go buy yourself something nice after winning that contest! Let’s go! Let’s stop living in and desiring misery people!
Had an all hands meeting this morning with my teams. First to meet their 4 on a KPI gets taken out for a free lunch. New habits will be formed.

Keep working hard champ. Never know, in a few years you may move up to the drive thru window. Dream big.

There’s a nice Brazilian Steakhouse down the street from the office. That’s the treat. The surprise will be letting the group off for the second half of the day once the lunch is done.

I can tell you don't watch baseball. Beaux hits a single and does a rain dance on first base. You can watch countless videos of Tennessee baseball players acting a fool

I'm not doing extra for Taco Bell.

Aren’t you the same guy that complains no one can delay gratification 10 times a day?

The only celebrations I don’t get are birthday parties. IMO they are for the very young or very old.

Too many people are work, money, and buying stuff obsessed.
Stop, slow down, spend time with loved ones. Time goes too fast.

Love this quote. Had an old great-uncle who would say this all the time. Stuck with me!

You ask a decent question then decide to chode it up with your tired schtick right at the end.

I went to a soccer camp where the rule was your goal didn’t count unless you celebrated it. It was gay as shite.

And the stupid ref will flag you for "setting the ball down too hard on his hands."
