I inherited my uncle's 1949 set that has been in storage (thankfully in an air conditioned room) for over 50 years...
my daughter gave me a Hogwarts Express for Christmas a couple of years ago and now with the kid up in Oxford, I have some space to set stuff up and experiment...
what I'm trying to do is integrate some of the old switches, uncoupler track, and the platforms for the cattle car and milk car into a system with fastrack...
there's got to be a cheaper way to integrate this stuff together than paying $12- for a coupler track section...

I have one that was my grandfathers. I need to set it all up one of these days. Loved trains as a kid, and I love small scale models of all kinds.

You ever been to the McCormick Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale?
Pretty cool if you love trains. There is a massive area where various train clubs have their setups that you can walk around and see. They are constantly adding on to it as well.

They also have several real train cars that you can tour as well.

I got to tour the GE plant in Erie PA a few years ago. That was an awesome old plant that unfortunately unions drove into shutting down.

I've never dealt with model trains, though I've always been kind of fascinated by them. I'd love to have something like this YouTube link in my backyard.

First of all, the Electric Slide and the Train are two separate dances. To combine them could be lethal.
