They think, however, that they are really cool and successful. And have life figured out. They're the ones who aren't learning anything.

You're bored. Gotta find something to occupy your mind a little more. If its your company then hey.....you got decisions to make.

Be thankful you weren't doing cocaine. Eight months after I quit snorting it, I was still having dreams about doing it. When I woke up and realized it was just a dream, I still felt exactly the way I did when I had run out. No difference in really running out and dreaming you had it and waking up to realize it was just a dream.

I had to quit being friends with all of my buddies that were using. Quit going out period because I could tell when people were coked up. Too tempting to be around all of that.

Ran into my dealer in a restaurant about six months after I quit and he told me he missed the business. Said he would give me an A1 credit rating if anyone asked. He always fronted it to me. Knew I couldn't say "No!"

If you get addicted to pot, you're mentally weak

i was a daily smoker for decades. then went to weekly over a few years, then quit for 9 months or so, and now am back to 1-2x per week.

i didn't really have a problem quitting. my biggest issue is alcohol has calories, and pot doesn't

16months sober and drug dreams is an issue.

Ill crush a roxy, make a line of white and drizzle some meth to sustain the high almost every night in my dreams. Don't find it to be an issue but it does stay with you.

One thing I have to stay away from are TV shows and movies which show heavy drug use. Just makes me uneasy and anxious.

Good thing I was a heavy user while Breaking Bad was still on the air.

Put it doesn't show them using often. So really wouldn't be an issue. It's when they use, like in HBOs Vinyl. The first scene has the main character rip the rear view mirror off to line up a rail.

it's been since the early 90's for me. Me saying I was having the dreams at eight months is really just a guess because I can't really remember how long it went on. I just know I was glad when it ended. Seeing it on TV or in a movie doesn't bother me. I never wanted it again after I stopped having those dreams.

Haven't been around it since then either. Have a life to live.

Yes. Month tops. I was young and dumb but I haven't smoked in years. I smoked everyday for several years. Quit and after about a month I thought it was ignorant to be smoking weed for an adult.

yes, I take weeks, months off all the time.

No real urge. Except when stressed out and want to chill.

Instead of reaching for a joint, grab a beer and kill your liver, that's the acceptable thing to do.

I have no idea what the hell anyone in here is talking about. I smoked just about every day for ~ 7 years and quit when I new I would be looking for a new job. My new job didn't test me, but my gf(current wife) never smoked and didn't agree with it so I just stopped. There are times where I think, "wow, this would be way cooler/more manageable with some pot", but it never was a dependancy thing. Pot is just awesome and makes a ton of stuff better. As an adult, there are also many situations where I realize it's much better I'm not high all the time. If it were completely legalized I'd probably get high once a week. Smoking everyday is what college is for.

The notion that it is irresponsible for an adult to smoke is just silly. Getting a little high is much safer/healthier than drinking and can be accomplished in about a minute and a half. I'd rather that than my kid seeing me toss back a 12 pack or hitting the bottle all day. Now, just like getting beligirent drunk there is a point where you are way too high. I wouldn't want anyone to see me passed out with puke all over me and I wouldn't want anyone to see me so high I can't comprehend what the hell they are saying to me. Moderation.

It did for me, except for when I'm drinking. For some reason every time I drink I want to get high..
