Do u sleep with a sound machine noise?

I have an app on my phone that I use the box fan noise to sleep to.

Yes. Started with both kids and now we have adopted it. White noise.

Box fan noise is fine, but white noise machines make me wake up at 2am in a homicidal rage. My nephews sleep with one on every night. frickers wake up every morning at 7 bouncing off the walls. I’m thinking that machine has something to do with it.

Can’t sleep without it. Box fan at home, app on my phone on the road. If power goes out or something I literally wake up because of the silence

At home we use an air cleaner for white noise, in hotels, we take a white noise machine. We could use our phones but the little white noise machines have been in each of our luggage for probably 15 years.

No. I exercise my body and mind enough each day to be able to fall asleep as a normal person should.

Every night it "thunders" in my bedroom. Helps me fall asleep, along with a dehumidifier that kicks off and on.

Yep. Like Pavlov's dog when that thing turns on.
My little one has slept with it since a baby and it allows us to stay up late or wake up early without bothering her.
Only advice. Get multiple of whatever you chose. Because if/when it breaks matching the pitch is impossible.

Same here. I remember with my first kid it getting on my nerves hearing the waves crashing and difficult to go to sleep but she slept good with them so I tolerated them. Now it’s hard to sleep without the sound.

Never did until my ol' lady forced her way in to my bed. She has a white noise machine that she originally set to some weird static shite, but I found a setting that was rain and thunder. Sleep to that every night since we don't really have thunderstorms here.
