Was just wondering this with all of the crime and mayhem in the wild wild East.

I know the vietnamese out there kind of have their own part of the east where they all live. I'm pretty sure none of the crime has come from their area. How do they keep the criminals away?

How can you commit crimes against the purveyors of pho and the vermicelli bowl? It's just not possible.

You mess with one, then you mess with them all. One call, and 15 Civics rollup as backup.

Black gangs are generally scared of Vietnamese and Mexican gangs.

I have always thought it was interesting that every ethnic group at one point had their own form of "protection"- Triad, Russian Vor, Italian Cosa Nostra...

It's not surprising to see the Vietnamese protect their own out there.

they stand together more than anyone. During the Katrina aftermath they knew where almost everyone was. And went looking for the ones they didn't hear from.
