Still a pretty big thing. Have friends that I used to play with back in the PSP/NPPL days that are still playing. They'll travel out of state for 6-8 tournaments a year. Still real good friends with the owner of the local field.
If anything its grown larger as a sport after taking a dip around the 08 Recession like every other recreational activity did. Wish I had the time to go out there but if you arent single that's damn near impossible.

Yea I just don’t hear anyone talk about it anymore. Never see anything related to it. Thought it had died off. Maybe bc im getting old...!

It's all NXL now. They merged those two leagues to save them both and have done pretty well for themselves. Still havent landed that elusive national TV deal but it's getting better. Hell I watched a few Pro matches during World Cup on their streaming service and was pretty impressed.

Unfortunately yes. My sister in law and brother in law have recently gotten into it. It’s her birthday tomorrow so I’m getting forced to participate. At least there will be beer and crawfish after

I don't think so, its an awesome sport/activity. Spent many weekends playing. Gd i miss the 2000s

Paintball Command in Mandeville is still going strong and busy, but i know they do airsoft weekends now too.
I miss playing. Bunch of buddies had a scenario team back in college and we played a ton. Ive never had a bad time playing. Still have all my stuff too

Those 03s were the last decent thing Smart Parts put out. Went thru a few setups but had an old Infamous Timmy that could throw rope like a porn star. Eventually we all switched over to PE when their sponsorship packages were ridiculous.
World Cup 07 was the last time I ever played. Miss the good ol days
