Back in the 90’s - early 00’s EB was all over the place. Now you rarely hear anything about them.

I listen to Dan Patrick and they advertise like crazy on there. I had no idea they were even in business.

Not that you mention it, I haven't seen/heard about much lately.

I seem to remember they were a legit outdoorsy type store at one point. Somewhere along the line, they morphed into J Crew/Banana Republic.

I've got a few eddie bauer vests I wear in the winter.

I'd love to have an EB Bronco

My mom had one like that growing up, and wish I still had it to fix up and drive around. They came with the matching set of luggage that I remember I used for years until I lost it in a move after college.

Yeh, but if go back even further, Banana Republic morphed into what they are now from something similar to the old Eddie Bauer. BR was originally a catalog/mail order only company with some pretty cool outdoorsy kind of clothes.

I wish they still made their Adventurer cologne. It is one of the few that I can wear that works with my body chemistry.

They just opened a new Eddie Bauer in Dallas at Park Lane. I went in there a few months back and it looks like they're back to legit outdoor wear. Kinda like REI but without the equipment.

There's more money in suburban sportswear than in technical gear for hardcore outdoorsmen. North Face has nearly completed that transition.

This, but it seems more like American Eagle type quality now.

I have an Eddie Bauer soft-shell fleece circa 2010 that I still wear. I say "wear" loosely because once the ladies find out it's an EB, they can't wait to rip it off

I still have a couple of REI sleeping bags. I wish Abercrombie would go back to outdoors gear. I have an old Abercrombie shotgun in my safe at home. I’m a little leery to shoot it.
